In 1985, Carmen Flowers appeared on over 200 television news shows as public relations spokesperson for Sony, and introduced Sony's 8mm camcorder to the the United States. in 1987, Carmen was co-anchor of "World Travel News", a daily half-hour show on the newly launched Travel Channel. Then Carmen stepped behind the cameras as co-founder and owner of Liebert Recording Studios in New York. Leibert quickly became the choice of clients like HBO, NBC News, CBS News, J. Walter Thompson, Chiat Day, MTV, Showtime and more. Carmen then served as Vice President - Marketing for DJM films in 2000 and went on to executive produce commercials and consult for post-production/animation houses before forming Little Black Dog with Vern McKimmey in 2004.
Vern has spent thousands of hours in busy television newsrooms. as a broadcast marketing professional. He has worked with CNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, UPN and Gannett Television. Vern served on the ABC Marketing Advisory Board, and is a four time Emmy winner for his marketing campaigns. he also serves as copywriter and screenwriter.
As Creative Director for The Sci-Fi Channel, Ken was instrumental in the launch of one of cable's most successful networks. He produced programs around the world for the Travel Channel, and served as Director of Marketing for Sony Pictures Entertainment's Game Show Network. He also wrote and produced on-air promos for CBS, network and local. Ken has won over forty creative awards for his television work.
